Genesis 11:1~9
Genesis 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 11:3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 11:5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 11:6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 12 I MC VC
Genesis 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. 12 I MC VC
Genesis 11:8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 12 I MC VC
Genesis 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. 14 I MC VC
Genesis 25:21~34
Genesis 25:21 And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. 12 I MC VC
Genesis 25:22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the Lord. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:23 And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:28 And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob. 12 I MC VC
Genesis 25:29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 25:34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 28:10~22
Genesis 28:10 And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 28:11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. 12 I MC VC
Genesis 28:13 And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; 10 I MC VC
Genesis 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 12 I MC VC
Genesis 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. 24 I MC VC
Genesis 28:16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not. 13 I MC VC
Genesis 28:17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. 13 I MC VC
Genesis 28:18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 28:19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 28:20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, 10 I MC VC
Genesis 28:21 So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the Lord be my God: 10 I MC VC
Genesis 28:22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee. 14 I MC VC
Genesis 29:1~30
Genesis 29:1 Then Jacob went on his journey, and came into the land of the people of the east. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:2 And he looked, and behold a well in the field, and, lo, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and a great stone was upon the well’s mouth. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:3 And thither were all the flocks gathered: and they rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone again upon the well’s mouth in his place. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:4 And Jacob said unto them, My brethren, whence be ye? And they said, Of Haran are we. 20 I MC VC
Genesis 29:5 And he said unto them, Know ye Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know him. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:6 And he said unto them, Is he well? And they said, He is well: and, behold, Rachel his daughter cometh with the sheep. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:7 And he said, Lo, it is yet high day, neither is it time that the cattle should be gathered together: water ye the sheep, and go and feed them. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:8 And they said, We cannot, until all the flocks be gathered together, and till they roll the stone from the well’s mouth; then we water the sheep. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:9 And while he yet spake with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep; for she kept them. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:10 And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother’s brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother’s brother, that Jacob went near, and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:11 And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice, and wept. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:12 And Jacob told Rachel that he was her father’s brother, and that he was Rebekah’s son: and she ran and told her father. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:13 And it came to pass, when Laban heard the tidings of Jacob his sister’s son, that he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. And he told Laban all these things. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:14 And Laban said to him, Surely thou art my bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the space of a month. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:15 And Laban said unto Jacob, Because thou art my brother, shouldest thou therefore serve me for nought? tell me, what shall thy wages be? 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:16 And Laban had two daughters: the name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:17 Leah was tender eyed; but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:18 And Jacob loved Rachel; and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:19 And Laban said, It is better that I give her to thee, than that I should give her to another man: abide with me. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:20 And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:21 And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:22 And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:23 And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:24 And Laban gave unto his daughter Leah Zilpah his maid for an handmaid. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:25 And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me? 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:26 And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:27 Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:28 And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:29 And Laban gave to Rachel his daughter Bilhah his handmaid to be her maid. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 29:30 And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 30:25~32
Genesis 30:25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 30:26 Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 30:27 And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 30:28 And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 30:29 And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 30:30 For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the Lord hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also? 10 I MC VC
Genesis 30:31 And he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock. 10 I MC VC
Genesis 30:32 I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire. 12 I MC VC
